We are keen to get your views on receptionists guiding patients towards the right appointments. We offer a variety of services and so that patients can be helped sometimes our receptionists may ask about the nature of the problem. A patient with for example back pain can be guided to the physio rather than the GP. However we are aware that some patients find this sort of question intrusive. Our receptionists are not there to assess patients medical condition or undertake any medical triage but hopefully to book you the right appointment. What are your views about this issue? Do you mind being asked a broad question about the nature of your problem in this context?
