Being involved in the training of future doctors and GPs is important to us at Kingston Health Centre. We have junior doctors and a GP specialist trainees in the practice.
Foundation Year 2 (F2) doctors are in their second year after qualifying and have a 4 month placement to gain experience of general practice. They work under the supervision of a GP and are able to see patients independently and prescribe medicines.
Specialty Trainee (ST) doctors are completing their specialist training to become GPs and at Kingston Health Centre for 6-12 months, supervised by a GP trainer. They are able to see patients independently and prescribe medicines.
